Printing onto metallic substrates allows us to create almost any metallic colour you can imagine – and white ink can be used in the design where needed. We can create some great combinations of effects.
A Hine label is great, but a foiled Hine label is another level. Foils bring real premium quality embellishments.
Spot varnishes use printing plates or stencils to apply the varnish to select areas of the label design. Gloss varnish, matt varnish, or sandpaper textured varnish – used on their own, or use both to create different effects. A background in matt with an image or text highlighted in gloss can raise shelf appeal dramatically.
Overlaminates can be used to protect the label and, at the same time, create a nice touchy feel. The print is sealed from the outside environment, creating a tough, highly resistant finish.
Colour is great, but texture creates grander levels of definition. Imagine raised text or picture on a lovely bottle of wine or gin! Now imagine your product, with a label like that, catching the light and grabbing your customers’ attention. Oooo!
Create the ‘no label look’ using clear films. It will be hard to see on your product, looking as though the bottle itself has been directly printed!
